The day has gone by and some people are full of joy, some full of the fear, some still trying to make sense of it all.... Well I met each type of person yesterday so can tell you that it's true... I wasn't to keen on people then, so I turned my attention to those whom I wish could say are full time with me... Ya envy a lot of you people out there... But what's there in being envious....
So I set off my day looking at this Diwali from the perspective of these cute doggies....especially those who are on streets and barely get a corner to hide if they want to.... At moments I wanted to hold and comfort them, but knew they would rather get more scared...
We all know kids can barely resist their crackers right from start of the day... We were same one day.... so the tirade had to begin from the beginning of the day....
I went to the market outside my colony... since my colony for some reason was still sleeping at 12 noon.... I reached this area which I very well knew had those cute buddies of mine cause occasionally ( know that is rarely) I would sit with them, give them a tap and scratch that they would enjoy...well right somewhere between the bakery, the grocer and the mutton shop they would lay, always hoping that they will get something from either place...
Coming back to now, to add to my utter shock I could see these small kids...who were bustling in each other with their hands full of small crackers....so full yet so naive... Were dangerously close to the doggies...
Well I did manage to tell them to be away .....but their parents would stare at me thinking who the hell is this patrolling officer in our area...well never mind atleast I did keep my mind on the right things...
So moments later they went about with their business of setting off those ear busters, well if I may call them ear busters... What are they suppose to be for the lads around me....I was surprised though that they lay peacefully...I called them in the midst of all the noise and they happily looked up...
So I knew they have adapted to this form...
Loved the moment when they were in that bubble with me...as if so inconsiderate about surrounding...
But I knew this was just beginning and needed to know how the day went by......
